In a novel approach to online marketing, Trip.com, a premier online travel agency, is joining forces with Malaysia Airlines and its budget-friendly affiliate, Firefly Airlines, to provide special promotional codes to the airlines’ travelers at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (Subang Airport), Penang International Airport, and Kota Kinabalu International Airport through an on-the-ground campaign. Passengers flying with either airline will receive physical vouchers post-check-in at these airports, which they can redeem for promotional codes valued at over RM100 in total.
This promotional effort is set to take place across the three strategically chosen airports, recognized for their significance in the airlines’ domestic routes, starting now and continuing until 14 April 2024, or until all vouchers are distributed, whichever comes first. The promotion features several attractive deals, including RM40 off flight bookings with a minimum spend of RM300, RM20 off hotel reservations with a minimum spend of RM250, RM45 off bookings for tours and tickets with a minimum spend of RM400, among other benefits like discounts on airport transfers and car rentals.
