Trip.com signs MoU with CICA

Trip.com Group has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding for three-years with the China International Culture Association with a target to encourage inbound tourism.


At the signing ceremony, the Co-founder and Chairman of Trip.com Group, Mr. James Liang and the Chief Marketing Officer of Trip.com Group, Mr. Bo Sun, were present.


The Nihao! China campaign, introduced by China International Culture Association, is all set to nurture as well as promote cultural exchanges and start fresh relationship between China and visitors worldwide.


The Trip.com Group and China International Culture Association have jointly agreed to introduce the “Nihao! China” program. This program comprises filming videos related to promotions along with Nihao China digital drive.


Furthermore, the framework will be giving importance to develop a service platform for inbound travel and create activities agreed upon by both the parties at the Sino-French Tourism Year, China International Tourism Fair, the China-US Tourism High-Level Dialogue, and the World Conference on Tourism Development, among many other events.


Of late, numerous steps were adopted to improve tourism were declared by the Chinese State Council which included optimizing visa and policies related to customs clearance, increasing capacity of international flights and routes to all the main cities, among others.
