Trip.com Group makes its presence felt at WTM, London

In its first look at World Travel Market (WTM) this year, Trip.com Group, which is a worldwide frontrunner in travel facilities, made its presence felt in the European market and the important role of artificial intelligence. The event, happening from 6-8 this month in London, delivered a stage for Trip.com Group to communicate its idea of redesigning the travel understanding with progressive AI expertise and to reinforce its standing as a developing important player in the European travel segment.


Boon Sian Chai, the Managing Director and the Vice President for International Markets at Trip.com Group grabbed the limelight at the event’s Technology Summit. Chai talked about the essential part that AI plays toward revolutionizing the travel segment, increasing customer amenity with the help of intelligent chatbots, and cultivating general service experiences besides touching on the renaissance of outbound travel from China.


Previously this year, launching of TripGenie, Trip.com Group’s AI assistant, marked a noteworthy improvement in the technology suite of the company. TripGenie has conspicuously upgraded user commitment and conversion rates by customizing travel experiences and streamlining travel preparation. The Group aims to additionally improve TripGenie’s features, increasing its ability to deliver tailored travel provisions.
