TrueNoord expands team with 4 key hires in Dublin & Amsterdam, strengthening its expertise in aircraft leasing and financial management for 2024 growth

TrueNoord, a leading regional aircraft leasing company, recently announced the expansion of their team with four strategic hires. The Dublin office welcomes Shaun Fullerton as the new Technical Manager, while Ian Tyrrell, Jovana Zuber Timotijević, and David Joyce join as Financial Controllers and Finance Managers respectively in the Amsterdam office.

Shaun Fullerton, stepping into the Technical Manager role, will oversee the technical management of TrueNoord’s aircraft fleet across their leasing periods. His previous role as a Technical Analyst at Avolon equips him with extensive experience in aircraft leasing, covering areas such as complex aircraft modifications, asset management, and end-of-life asset disposals. Fullerton expressed his excitement about joining TrueNoord during a significant growth period and contributing to the company’s development.

Ian Tyrrell, a Chartered Accountant formerly with KPMG, brings five years of leasing industry experience to his role as Financial Controller at TrueNoord. He was attracted to the position by TrueNoord’s remarkable growth and the strong backing from investors. Tyrrell highlighted the personal and professional enrichment he has gained from relocating to Amsterdam for this opportunity.

In her role as Finance Manager, Jovana Zuber Timotijević will focus on facility management, debt reporting, and maintaining lender relationships. With a background in accounting and auditing, she is well-prepared to adapt to changing financial environments. Zuber Timotijević emphasized the alignment of her professional aspirations with TrueNoord’s positive, dynamic culture and its ambitious future plans.

David Joyce, another new Finance Manager in Amsterdam, specializes in aircraft management and commercial analysis. He was attracted to TrueNoord’s innovative and entrepreneurial spirit. Joyce, with a background in auditing and financial services advisory, is eager to apply his expertise to support TrueNoord’s ongoing growth.

Anne-Bart Tieleman, CEO of TrueNoord, expressed confidence in the newly strengthened team’s ability to support the company’s continued growth, especially following a significant aircraft deal with Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) at the end of last year. He looks forward to guiding TrueNoord along a balanced and structured growth path in 2024.
