TUI, the premier international travel and leisure firm, unveiled its addition of Agadir, Morocco, to its enhanced Summer 2025 offerings.

Furthermore, the expansion will add an extra 30,000 seats from Newcastle Airport for the summer season of 2025 and will raise the number of weekly flights to Kos, Greece, to three.

This expansion aligns with TUI’s dedication to providing greater options and flexibility to its customers throughout the UK, especially in regional areas.

Andrew Flintham, TUI UK&I Manager Director, said: “We are seeing an increase in demand from the Northeast region, which is why we have added an additional 30,000 seats to our summer 2025 programme including an exciting new route to Agadir, Morocco. This now means that there will be more flights to Turkey, Spain and Greece giving customers more choice not only in destination but also in holiday duration and flight times. Our customers want to go on the holiday best for them, and they want to be able to fly out of their local airport.”

Leon McQuaid, Director of Aviation Development at Newcastle International Airport said: “It was less six months ago since we celebrated TUI’s first flight from Newcastle Airport to Cape Verde, and now even more exciting news with Agadir, Morocco announced from summer 2025. I am sure it will be a popular holiday choice for the North East travelling public thanks to its world-class watersports, mix of budget and luxury hotels as well as a surrounding landscape of mountains and desert. It’s great that passengers can now fly direct to Morocco with TUI, from their local Airport!”
