Twice the Charm: Ras Al Khaimah and Musandam, Oman, Launch ‘See Double’ Campaign

Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) and the Oman Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, in partnership with OMRAN Group, have launched their inaugural joint campaign, “See Double.” This innovative initiative aims to entice travelers to embark on a comprehensive journey, exploring both the natural wonders of Ras Al Khaimah and the neighboring Musandam region of Oman during this summer season.

The campaign, set to run throughout the summer months, promotes the idea of doubling the excitement, adventure, and memories for travelers. It showcases a special ‘Kids Go Free’ offer at various accommodations and attractions in both Ras Al Khaimah and Musandam, adding further appeal to the experience.

Unveiled at the esteemed ITB Berlin global travel event, which convenes industry professionals from around the globe from March 5-7, the See Double campaign follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in November 2023. This MoU aimed to foster cross-destination tourism promotion and marketing, with the ultimate goal of bolstering international tourism to both Ras Al Khaimah and the Musandam Governorate.

The See Double campaign exemplifies how travelers can optimize their journey by seamlessly exploring two extraordinary destinations within a short 90-minute drive of each other. With a convenient border crossing and shared natural wonders like the majestic Hajar mountain range, coupled with a deeply intertwined history and cultural heritage, the campaign promises an unforgettable experience for visitors.

By participating in the campaign, travelers will have the chance to indulge in a plethora of attractions in each destination, including:

Scheduled to run from June 15 to September 15, See Double also emphasizes that children can stay and dine for free at most hotels and resorts in Ras Al Khaimah and Musandam, ensuring excellent value for families during their visit.

H.E Raki Phillips, Chief Executive Officer of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, remarked: “Our See Double campaign with the ministry in collaboration with OMRAN brings together the best of Ras Al Khaimah and the Musandam Governate in one sensational summer promotion. This joint marketing effort marks the beginning of numerous cross-destination promotions we plan with the Sultanate of Oman. It aims to highlight the diverse attractions and experiences available to international travellers in both destinations. Pioneering in the region, the campaign is testament to our strong synergy, aligning with the international trend towards frictionless, borderless travel, and enhancing accessibility and convenience for travellers.”
