TRAVELSAVERS and NEST increase their Supplier Relations staff in two new positions that will better connect travel suppliers and travel agencies. The expansion shows continued interest in better supplier relationships for the purpose of enhancing business opportunities and partnership programs for travel advisors.
The travel networks have appointed Sevi Anagnostis as Senior Director, Supplier Relations, bringing decades of industry expertise in partnership development, negotiations and revenue growth strategies. The expansion also includes the creation of a new Supplier Relations and Marketing Coordinator role, filled by Michael Raffanello, who will support supplier programmes and agency initiatives.
Anagnostis joins TRAVELSAVERS and NEST with more than 35 years of experience across different areas of the travel sector. Her career includes leadership positions focused on supplier relationships, commercial strategies and business growth. Before joining TRAVELSAVERS, she worked as National Accounts Manager at WestJet Vacations, where she managed the expansion of a multimillion-dollar portfolio.
Her previous professional experience also includes senior roles with Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Air Canada, Canadian Airlines and Canadian Holidays. This broad background gives her experience working across airlines, travel agencies and supplier networks.

In her new position, Anagnostis will focus on developing stronger relationships with airline and car rental partners while identifying new opportunities that benefit both suppliers and affiliated agencies. She will also work to help agencies increase their business performance through preferred supplier partnerships.
The appointment comes as TRAVELSAVERS and NEST continue investing in supplier relationships that provide additional value to their agency networks. These partnerships play an important role in helping travel advisors access stronger commercial opportunities, exclusive benefits and enhanced customer offerings.
Nicole Mazza, Chief Marketing Officer at TRAVELSAVERS and NEST, highlighted the importance of supplier partnerships in supporting agency growth. She said expanding the Supplier Relations team represents a major investment in the continued success of affiliated agencies.
According to the organisation, Anagnostis’ understanding of both supplier priorities and agency needs will help create stronger cooperation between preferred partners and travel advisors. The appointment is expected to support new opportunities for agencies looking to expand sales and improve customer experiences.

The second appointment strengthens the operational side of the Supplier Relations team. Michael Raffanello has joined as Supplier Relations and Marketing Coordinator, bringing more than five years of experience in multichannel marketing, campaign analysis, event management and vendor relations.
Raffanello’s role will include providing additional support to suppliers while helping enhance programmes and benefits available to affiliated agencies. His marketing background is expected to contribute to stronger communication, coordination and supplier engagement.
TRAVELSAVERS and NEST work with a wide range of travel industry partners, including cruise companies, tour operators, hotels, airlines, destination management companies, car rental providers and insurance organisations. Through their preferred partner programmes, the networks negotiate commercial advantages and additional benefits for affiliated agencies.
These benefits include commission opportunities, promotional campaigns, exclusive offers and additional amenities for travellers. By strengthening supplier relationships, TRAVELSAVERS and NEST aim to help independent travel advisors compete more effectively while delivering greater value to clients.
The latest team expansion forms part of a wider strategy to improve supplier collaboration and provide additional support for agencies. The organisations have confirmed that further investment in the Supplier Relations team is planned as they continue developing their partnership network.
With experienced leadership and expanded support resources, TRAVELSAVERS and NEST are positioning their supplier strategy around stronger cooperation, improved agency performance and long-term growth across the travel industry.
