The National Centre of Meteorology in the UAE has forecasted an opportunity for rainfall, alongside a rise in temperatures across the country. The forthcoming weather conditions are expected to include a mix of fair to partly cloudy skies, with lower clouds anticipated over some eastern regions, potentially bringing rainfall. As night falls and into Friday morning, humidity is predicted to increase, particularly over certain coastal and internal areas.
Winds are likely to be light to moderate in strength but may intensify occasionally, leading to episodes of blowing dust. Temperatures are set to reach highs of up to 31ºC, with Abu Dhabi experiencing a peak of 29ºC and Dubai a slightly cooler 28ºC. Conversely, minimum temperatures could drop to 17ºC in Abu Dhabi, 18ºC in Dubai, and a chillier 7ºC in the mountainous areas.
Humidity levels overnight and into the early hours of Friday are expected to vary significantly, with Abu Dhabi seeing ranges between 45 to 90 percent, and Dubai experiencing levels from 55 to 90 percent. Maritime conditions in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are predicted to be slight to moderate, although there might be moments when the sea becomes somewhat rough.
This shift in weather conditions, particularly the chance of rainfall and the increase in temperatures, is poised to influence tourism within the UAE.
The prediction of fair weather interspersed with potential rain could attract visitors looking for a respite from the extreme heat typically associated with the region, thereby enhancing the appeal of the UAE as a tourist destination during this period.
