France is set to receive a major cabin upgrade as Emirates’ retrofitted A380 is introduced to Paris from 25 October 2026. Paris Becomes Emirates’ Third Premium Economy Gateway in France

From 25 October 2026, the retrofitted Emirates A380 will be assigned to EK071 and EK072, giving passengers a daily upgraded option between Dubai and Paris. The change means that Emirates A380 flights to France will provide Premium Economy at Paris, Lyon and Nice, extending the airline’s latest cabin product across every French gateway it serves.

The expansion follows the introduction of Premium Economy in Lyon and Nice, where healthy seat load factors have been maintained. Emirates has reported that around one in ten passengers travelling to Dubai from these French gateways has selected Premium Economy. The Paris deployment is therefore being positioned as the next stage of the airline’s investment in France.

The dining experience will also be differentiated from Economy. Passengers using Premium Economy at Charles de Gaulle Airport will be offered a dedicated check-in counter and priority boarding. A checked baggage allowance of 35kg will be provided, together with 10kg of carry-on baggage. These benefits will complement the onboard product and strengthen the proposition for premium economy travel to France.
