UNWTO World Forum on Gastronomy returns

The forum organized under the theme – Gastronomy Tourism: Back to the roots, will throw the spotlight on the linking between gastronomy, product, and tourism industry. All industry professionals, institutional representatives and leading experts in these three days will get associated in live debates, hands-on workshops, keynote speeches, and live cooking demonstrations with international and regional chefs and producers.

Many leading figures of world gastronomy and tourism will be welcomed in the event like General Director of FAO, Qu Dongyu, Director General of Slow Food Paolo Di Croce, Secretary General of Collège Culinaire de France, Célia Tunc, the winner of 2022 BCWP, Fatmata Binta. Fatmata will be selected on the occasion as Ambassador of UNWTO for Responsible Tourism; other confirmed speakers had come from Croatia, Ecuador, Brazil, France, Italy, Ghana, Republic of Korea and other countries.

Additionally, the attendees of the forum will have the chance to select from five different trips to understand as well as taste the local gastronomy: like the Rural flavors of the Basque Country, Rioja Alavesa and its excellence in wine tourism, and Urola Kosta – fishing villages, their exotic sceneries and dream essences.
