Vietjet marks the Lunar New Year by welcoming its 105th aircraft, an Airbus A321neo ACF, to its modern fleet. This addition underscores Vietjet’s commitment to expanding its services and enhancing passenger experience, aligning with its fleet development strategy to meet diverse customer needs.

The arrival of this state-of-the-art aircraft at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City symbolises a significant step in Vietjet’s journey, aiming to broaden its flight network to new destinations during the Year of the Dragon and fueling the airline’s future growth.

The Airbus A321neo ACF is celebrated for its environmental efficiency, boasting fuel savings up to 20%, a 50% reduction in emissions, and a 75% decrease in noise levels, positioning Vietjet at the forefront of sustainable aviation. The acquisition of this aircraft, along with six others equipped with flight crews before the 2024 Lunar New Year’s peak season, demonstrates Vietjet’s readiness to meet the expected surge in travel demand.

Vietjet plans to deploy the new aircraft on various domestic and international routes, including Australia, India, China, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, and Thailand, catering to passengers traveling for spring vacations, business, investment, or tourism purposes. This expansion enhances the airline’s operational capacity, offering 35 round-trip flights per week across five major Indian cities: Mumbai, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Tiruchirappalli.

The airline’s commitment to passenger comfort and choice is evident in its provision of four distinct ticket classes: Business, SkyBoss, Deluxe, and Eco. Business class passengers, in particular, can enjoy an elevated travel experience on Vietjet’s A330 wide-body aircraft, which includes exclusive amenities such as private check-in counters, business lounges, private cabins, cocktail services, and a menu featuring Vietnamese delicacies and specially tailored Indian vegetarian and Halal options. This strategic move not only reinforces Vietjet’s position as a customer-centric airline but also showcases its dedication to connecting cultures and catering to a global clientele.
