W Hotels Expands ‘W Presents’ Series in Asia-Pacific

W Hotels, a prominent brand in Marriott Bonvoy’s diverse portfolio, has expanded its global initiative to showcase live electronic concerts by introducing the W PRESENTS series to the Asia-Pacific region. This exciting series debuted earlier this year in North America, with stops at W Toronto, W Seattle, W Nashville, W Philadelphia, W Montreal, and W Aspen. The series, curated by Leah Chisholm (LP Giobbi), W Hotels’ Global Director of Music, highlights electronic music talent while encouraging inclusivity and support for musical talent.

W PRESENTS at select W Hotels worldwide offers immersive private showcases in W Living Rooms, the iconic lobby/lounge, and experiential spaces such as the renowned Sound Suites in-suite recording studios. On November 18, the Asia-Pacific premiere began with W Osaka Presents, which featured an enthralling opening set by Japanese actors, models, and DJs SHUZO & YAMATO, followed by the indie techno pop sounds of Italian headliners Giol & Assia.

W PRESENTS’ role in pushing the boundaries for more possibilities in live music experiences was highlighted by John Toomey, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Marriott International Asia Pacific (excluding China). The series features curated talents from the electronic music world, and connects audiences to cutting-edge music acts in W Living Rooms across Asia-Pacific.

W Hotels, known for its influence in the music industry, will add to the excitement in Shanghai on November 25 with W Shanghai Presents, which will feature Japanese powerhouse DJ Qrion and her signature lush synth textures. W Hotels continues to be a leader in providing audiences with exceptional musical experiences, from live performances to hotel suite recording studios.
