Experience the grand reopening of Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, a luxury retreat where timeless elegance meets Arabian hospitality.
The renowned Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah has recently reopened, showcasing a remarkable transformation. This marks a new era for the prestigious luxury hotel, inviting guests to once again indulge in extraordinary experiences.
The hotel’s extensive renovation has revealed a total of 203 accommodation options, including 149 elegantly designed guest rooms and 54 suites offering stunning vistas. The revamp also included the refurbishing of nine diverse dining and lounge areas, a vast outdoor space perfect for private gatherings and weddings, and the hotel’s signature six-meter lobby clock. This clock, a tribute to Waldorf Astoria’s legacy, features a domed glass face with an aquamarine center and rotating prayer rings, symbolizing the hotel’s Arabic heritage and adorned with verses from traditional Bedouin songs.
A significant highlight of the renovation is the redesigned guestrooms and suites. Infused with hues of green and blue inspired by the Arabian Gulf, these spaces promise a luxurious stay, enhanced by Waldorf Astoria’s bespoke service. Each guest is provided with a Personal Concierge to ensure a seamless experience from arrival to departure.
The hotel also offers an engaging experience for its younger guests. With a special junior check-in, customized amenities, and a dedicated children’s club hosting a diverse range of activities, young visitors are sure to have an unforgettable stay. The unique ‘Little Hotelier’ concierge program allows children to immerse themselves in the hospitality industry, gaining new skills and creating lasting memories.
Culinary enthusiasts can embark on a journey through the hotel’s nine revitalized restaurants, lounges, and bars. Highlights include the esteemed Japanese restaurant UMI, boasting authentic sushi, Teppanyaki shows, and an extensive sake collection, and the American-style Lexington Grill & Bar, famous for its succulent steaks and wide wine and cocktail selection. The dining experience is further enriched with the introduction of Ras Al Khaimah’s first cigar bar, Sijar Lounge, and the revitalized Palm Shore Pool Bar, offering vibrant DJ entertainment and stunning sunsets. Executive Chef Michael Kreiling’s meticulously crafted menus promise a dining experience like no other.
Adrian Stoppe, General Manager, expressed, “The reinvented Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah offers not just luxurious accommodations, but a journey into the heart of Arabian hospitality. We aim for our guests to cherish not only their stay but the memorable experiences they gather here, long after they have left.”
