Wyndham Timeshare Owners File LawSuit Asserting Deceptive Sales Practices

Against Wyndham Vacation Resorts, Inc, the Law Offices of Howard B. Prossnitz PLLC declares the filing of a new class action in the federal court for the Middle District of Florida. The complaint is styled Carol and Donald Yorks et al. v. Wyndham Vacation Resorts, Inc., No. 24-cv-575.


In the federal court for the Middle District of Florida, the case was filed, looking to verify classes as a representative of all persons who in the last three years had bought Wyndham timeshares in the States of Nevada, South Carolina, and Maryland. Besides, the case searches for authorization for a class of active U.S. personnel from Military who in the last three years had bought Wyndham timeshares and were not given the 6 percent interest cap afforded them by the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act.


A 78-year-old retired Methodist pastor, Plaintiff Donald York has bought charges that he and his wife were cheated under false pretenses of buying a Wyndham timeshare including falsifications as to what he was buying. Plaintiff Taya Ann Fissix is actively involved with the United States Army. She asserts that she and her husband were sold the Wyndham timeshares based on falsifications.
