Google continues to conquer territories, and in this case, it has come to the turn to travel.
The technology has just announced a new tool that aims to compare hotels, Known as ‘Travel Trends’ , Google seeks that the user can know at all times what is the status of the prices of the trips he or she is planning.
The company has asserted that the tool would show how prices change over time the user plans to make his trip; also for cheaper options if users would want to extend the trip or less requested dates.
Travel Trends would also offer the possibility of receiving offers on indicated dates or for popular destinations.
Also, making use of its complete network, while Google detects a hotel or flight reservation, the tool offers all the leisure options available in the area in question.
In any case, it is not Google’s first experience with the travel industry. Google Flights has been operating for some time comparing trips connecting with different flight sales platforms. As well as Google Trips, another of Google’s tools focused on the personalization of travel and the management of reservations managed with Gmail through access to accounts.
Thanks to this brand new tool, Google stands up to the long list of travel buyers who have proliferated for years with aggressive offers of flights and hotels.
Kayak or eDreams would be just some of them that, as a comparative form, seek to add as many more offers better. The reality is that Google, through its large database, has been slow to enter the sector to take control of one of the most profitable businesses globally.
