The airline has started a major refurbishment programme for its Airbus A330-300 aircraft, ensuring older widebody aircraft can also offer an upgraded passenger experience.

The first Airbus A330-300 involved in the transformation programme is currently being refurbished in Hong Kong. The aircraft is receiving the new SWISS Senses cabin as part of a multi-year upgrade initiative.

Through this programme, SWISS plans to gradually install the updated cabin across its entire Airbus A330-300 fleet. The airline expects all A330 aircraft to feature the new cabin configuration by mid-2028.

This approach allows SWISS to improve passenger facilities across its long-haul network while continuing to operate its existing aircraft efficiently.
