Carnival Corporation & plc, a major cruise firm, has proclaimed policies for a $100 million pier extension that will augment the influx volume of Celebration Key, which is Carnival Cruise Line’s fresh high-class destination planned to launch on Grand Bahama Island in 2025 summer time.
On top of the two docks scheduled to be completed by 2025, the extension will add two additional docks, with all four able to handle up to Carnival’s biggest Excel class vessels when finished in 2026. Generally, the extended cruise dock will lodge as much as four Excel-class ships all together and is estimated to greet almost 4 million visitors yearly to Celebration Key by 2028.
Aiming on curating a specifically Bahamian dining, shopping and amusement setting, Carnival Corporation is functioning diligently with Bahamian representatives and community frontrunners to employ local firms, trip operators, construction workforces and businesspersons for the numerous business and job prospects the growth will create and endure.
