Dubai Airports is set to welcome more than 3,600 Hajj pilgrims during the 2026 pilgrimage season, with nearly 59% of all UAE pilgrims expected to travel through its terminals. Hajj departure flights are scheduled until 23 May, operated by Emirates, Saudia, flydubai, and flynas. The official Dubai government delegation departed on 21 May, marking the start of the travel period.

Enhanced Facilities And Services For Pilgrims

Dedicated check-in counters, priority departure and arrival gates, multilingual guest experience ambassadors, support desks, prayer rooms, and Ihram changing facilities have been established to facilitate a smooth travel journey. Elderly pilgrims and those requiring additional assistance are supported with expanded wheelchair availability, on-site health checks, and ground assistance teams stationed throughout the airport. DCAS has scaled up its medical presence to provide proactive healthcare support and respond to emergencies as needed.

Pilgrims are advised to arrive at least four hours prior to departure and ensure they carry all required travel documents, including Hajj permits and vaccination certificates. Documentation guidelines have been issued by the relevant authorities to facilitate a seamless boarding process.

Pilgrims are expected to return between 30 May and 2 June. Dedicated arrival arrangements have been implemented, including separate baggage belts for Zamzam water, ensuring efficient and organized passenger processing.
