Star Alliance Paris Lounge Secures Third Straight Global Lounge Crown At 2026 Skytrax Awards

The Star Alliance Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport Lounge has won Skytrax’s award for the World’s Best Airline Alliance Lounge for the third year in a row. The Star Alliance Lounge in Los Angeles International Airport also won a top award, coming in second in the same category. Thus, Star Alliance won the top two positions in this year’s awards.

The latest honour extends Star Alliance’s decade-long success in the airline lounge category, highlighting its continued efforts to improve premium passenger experiences worldwide. The recognition reflects the alliance’s focus on creating smoother, more comfortable journeys for travellers connecting across multiple member airlines.

The award was presented during a ceremony held at The Langham Hotel London, attended by senior aviation executives, airline representatives and industry leaders from around the world.

Situated in Terminal 1 at Charles de Gaulle Airport, the 1,300-square-metre Star Alliance Lounge welcomed travellers in October 2023 with a modern design concept blending contemporary interiors and French-inspired elements. The lounge provides dedicated areas for passengers to relax, complete work, enjoy dining options and prepare for their journeys in a premium environment.

Key highlights include a dedicated welcome bar, an immersive wine experience celebrating France’s renowned wine heritage and panoramic views overlooking the airport’s runways. These features have helped create a distinctive pre-flight experience that reflects both local culture and global hospitality standards.

The Star Alliance Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport also achieved second place in the World’s Best Airline Alliance Lounge category, reinforcing Star Alliance’s strong reputation for delivering high-quality lounge experiences across its international network.
