Aerolíneas Argentinas Partners with Supervielle to Expand Premium Travel Benefits

Aerolíneas Argentinas continues to enhance its offering for premium customers by forging a strategic alliance with Banco Supervielle, which brings together loyalty program rewards from the airline and benefits from the bank for eligible high-net-worth individuals. This collaboration enables selected credit-card holders at Banco Supervielle to earn miles on their credit-card spending, providing yet another way of earning miles that will enable eligible customers to fly domestically and internationally. The partnership, which was announced in May 2026, is aimed at customers belonging to the Identité banking segment at Supervielle. Selected credit card holders who use Visa Signature cards, Mastercard Black and certain Mastercard Platinum credit cards will be able to earn Aerolíneas Plus miles from their credit-card spending. This partnership will provide an opportunity to link up customers’ financial transactions directly with the airline’s rewards program. According to the program, customers will earn one Aerolíneas Plus mile for each US$1 spent, and the earned miles are available to be used for eligible flights operated by the airline.
Credit-Card Spending Becomes a Route to Airline Miles
The central feature of the partnership is its automatic mileage-earning structure. Eligible customers can accumulate Aerolíneas Plus miles through everyday credit-card purchases without relying exclusively on flying to build their balances.

The conversion rate is set at one mile for every US dollar spent. This gives customers a relatively straightforward way to understand how their spending translates into travel rewards.
Enrolment is fully digital through Banco Supervielle’s mobile application or online banking platform. Once registered, eligible card transactions are converted into miles automatically, reducing the need for customers to manage separate reward transfers.

The programme covers Identité customers holding Visa Signature and Mastercard Black cards, alongside qualifying Visa and Mastercard Platinum products. Participation is subject to the bank’s eligibility requirements and programme conditions.
Customers can redeem their accumulated miles for domestic and international flights operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas. The bank and airline have also included joint promotions, financing options for ticket purchases and the possibility of combining miles with cash when booking eligible journeys.

This combination gives customers more flexibility when planning travel, particularly when their mileage balance does not cover the entire ticket cost.
VIP Lounge Access and Fast Pass Strengthen the Offer
The airline partnership complements the existing travel benefits available through Supervielle’s Identité proposition.

Eligible premium banking customers already have access to VIP airport lounges in Argentina and international locations, alongside travel insurance and Fast Pass services at Ezeiza International Airport. The latter provides priority access through immigration controls, subject to the applicable conditions.
These services address different stages of the passenger journey. Lounge access provides a more comfortable environment before departure, while priority airport processing can reduce time spent in certain queues. Travel insurance adds another layer of support for customers travelling domestically or internationally.
The Aerolíneas Plus partnership adds a further incentive by linking ordinary card spending to future flights. Rather than relying on a single benefit, the combined proposition connects financial services, travel planning and airport experiences.
However, the distinction is important: the May agreement does not establish a newly announced private-banking lounge programme jointly operated by the airline and several financial institutions. The verified arrangement is specifically between Aerolíneas Argentinas and Banco Supervielle, with lounge and Fast Pass access forming part of the bank’s existing Identité benefits.

Aerolíneas Plus Expands Its Customer Reach
The partnership supports Aerolíneas Argentinas’ efforts to increase the reach of its loyalty programme beyond passengers who regularly purchase airline tickets.
Aerolíneas Plus allows members to accumulate and redeem miles through eligible flights and participating commercial partners. The programme also connects with the airline’s wider network through its SkyTeam membership, giving customers access to eligible benefits and earning opportunities across participating carriers.
For the airline, financial-sector partnerships offer an additional way to engage customers between trips. Credit-card spending can generate repeated interactions with the loyalty programme, while promotions and ticket financing can encourage members to consider Aerolíneas Argentinas when planning their next journey.
The arrangement also provides a commercial opportunity to reach customers who may have strong purchasing power but do not necessarily fly frequently enough to accumulate substantial mileage balances through air travel alone.
Banco Supervielle, meanwhile, can use the airline partnership to strengthen the appeal of its Identité segment. In Argentina’s competitive banking market, premium customers increasingly compare financial products through the additional services and experiences attached to them, rather than through account features alone.
Argentina’s Travel and Financial Sectors Build Closer Links
The agreement reflects a wider commercial trend in which airlines and financial institutions use loyalty partnerships to connect travel rewards with everyday consumer activity.

Airlines gain access to customers through established banking channels, while banks can offer benefits linked to travel, an important spending category for affluent and internationally mobile customers.
For Argentina, the partnership also has relevance beyond international travel. Aerolíneas Argentinas operates an extensive domestic network connecting Buenos Aires with provincial capitals, regional cities and tourism destinations. The ability to redeem miles for domestic flights gives the programme a role in leisure travel as well as corporate journeys.
Supervielle’s proposition also includes benefits for customers travelling through major airports, with Ezeiza serving as an important gateway for international services. The combination of mileage accumulation, airport facilities and travel-related financial services gives eligible customers a broader set of reasons to engage with both companies.
A Premium Proposition Built Around Customer Loyalty
The Aerolíneas Argentinas Supervielle Agreement provides each entity with a proven platform to attract and keep their premium customers. The first benefit that can be derived from this initiative is the accrual of miles on an automatic basis, along with the existing travel incentives offered by the bank and the booking convenience it provides. The second step will be gauged through the participation of customers, mileage accrual, and how well the alliance manages to generate repeat business. For Aerolíneas Argentinas, the extension of its Aerolíneas Plus network continues to be an important part of its strategy.
