A meaningful connection between hospitality and social responsibility is being strengthened in Singapore as Four Seasons Hotel Singapore prepares to host Run For Hope 2026, a long-standing Charity Event dedicated to supporting cancer research and raising Cancer Awareness. Returning to Marina Barrage on 29 November 2026, the initiative is being organised in partnership with the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), continuing a 33-year commitment towards supporting individuals and families affected by cancer.

The annual event has been recognised as an important community movement where hospitality, compassion and collective action are brought together. Since its establishment in 1993, Run For Hope has been supported by thousands of participants, with more than 20,000 people having taken part over the years. Through every edition, the event has been used as a platform to encourage greater understanding of cancer research and the importance of continued support.

Four Seasons Hotel Singapore Strengthens Hospitality-Led Community Support Through Run For Hope

The role of Four Seasons Hotel Singapore in Run For Hope reflects the growing connection between the hospitality sector and meaningful community initiatives. The event has been developed not only as a running activity but also as a shared platform where patients, survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals and supporters are united by a common purpose.

The 2026 edition is expected to welcome participants across different age groups and fitness levels through its 5km and 10km run categories. By creating an inclusive environment, the Charity Event continues to provide opportunities for individuals and families to participate in a cause focused on improving lives through cancer research.

The previous edition generated more than USD 190,000 for the NCC Research Fund, supporting research initiatives led by NCCS. These contributions have been directed towards advancing scientific discoveries, improving treatment approaches and strengthening patient care.

The continued partnership between Four Seasons Hotel Singapore and NCCS demonstrates how the hospitality industry can contribute beyond traditional guest experiences by supporting wider social causes within the community.

Run For Hope 2026 Introduces Special T-Shirt Design Created by Cancer Patient and Artist

A unique element of Run For Hope 2026 is the introduction of an official event t-shirt designed by Cindy Neo, a patient at NCCS, full-time artist and founder of Room To Imagine, an artist-led studio.

The design has been created as a representation of resilience, transformation and hope. Inspired by Cindy Neo’s artistic journey following her cancer diagnosis in 2017, the artwork reflects flowing abstract forms influenced by galaxies and oceans.

The ribbon featured at the centre of the design has been presented as a symbol of movement and progress. Rather than being displayed as a fixed image, it represents an ongoing journey connected with courage and personal strength.

During the event, thousands of participants will wear the specially created t-shirt, allowing the message behind the artwork to become part of the wider Cancer Awareness movement in Singapore. The design will serve as a reminder of the lives, experiences and future possibilities connected with continued cancer research.

Singapore Charity Event Continues Three Decades of Cancer Awareness and Research Support

Over three decades, Run For Hope has evolved from a small community initiative into one of Singapore’s established cancer awareness events. Its continued success has been built around participation, fundraising and public support for cancer research.

Cancer remains a significant health challenge in Singapore, accounting for 26.2 percent of all deaths between 2019 and 2023. While improvements in early detection and treatment have helped many patients, ongoing investment in research continues to be considered essential for future medical progress.

Through the partnership with NCCS, Run For Hope 2026 is supporting efforts focused on developing better approaches for diagnosis, treatment and patient care. The event continues to highlight the importance of research funding and community involvement in addressing cancer-related challenges.

The commitment shown by participants, supporters and organisers reflects the central message of the Charity Event: that every contribution can support meaningful progress.

Four Seasons Hotel Singapore Encourages Community Participation Beyond the Run

Participation in Run For Hope 2026 extends beyond those joining the physical race. Supporters who are unable to attend the event can still contribute through fundraising activities, personal donation pages and awareness campaigns.

Individuals and teams are being encouraged to create fundraising pages, involve their personal networks and help spread awareness about the initiative. Each contribution will support cancer research programmes led by NCCS.

The return of Run For Hope 2026 reinforces the connection between hospitality, community engagement and social responsibility. Through the continued involvement of Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, NCCS and thousands of supporters, the event remains a powerful example of how a Charity Event can unite people around a shared mission.

As Singapore prepares for another edition of Run For Hope, the focus remains on strengthening Cancer Awareness, supporting research and carrying forward a message of hope for individuals and families affected by cancer.
