AIRCAIRO has officially gone live on the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) in India, with immediate effect.

This strategic integration allows all IATA-accredited travel agencies across India to issue AIRCAIRO tickets directly through the BSP system. The move streamlines core processes such as booking, ticket issuance, reporting, and financial settlement. It also improves operational efficiency while giving travel partners easier access to AIRCAIRO’s expanding route network and services.

In addition to BSP connectivity, AIRCAIRO continues to strengthen its global distribution reach through major Global Distribution Systems (GDS), including Amadeus. This ensures that travel agents across India can conveniently search, book, and manage AIRCAIRO inventory, further extending the airline’s visibility across international markets and enhancing sales accessibility.

AIRCAIRO has also been integrated into GLID, the modern retailing platform developed by Aeroprime Group. This provides travel partners with an additional digital channel to access real-time fares, seat availability, and booking tools, reinforcing a more flexible and efficient distribution ecosystem within the Indian travel trade environment.

The activation of BSP in India represents a key milestone in AIRCAIRO’s broader commercial expansion strategy. It underscores the airline’s focus on deepening engagement with the Indian travel trade sector and strengthening its distribution framework in one of its priority markets. With rising demand driven by tourism flows, business travel, and improving air connectivity between India, Egypt, and onward destinations, AIRCAIRO is positioning itself for sustained network growth and stronger market penetration in the region.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Hussein Sherif, Chairman & CEO of AIRCAIRO, said:
“The activation of AIRCAIRO on IATA BSP India represents a significant milestone in our commercial
expansion strategy and reinforces our long-term commitment to the Indian market, one of the most
dynamic and strategically important aviation markets globally. By enabling seamless access to
AIRCAIRO’s network through the BSP platform, we are enhancing connectivity, simplifying the
booking process for travel partners, and creating greater opportunities for collaboration with the travel
trade community across India.”
“As we continue to expand our presence in key international markets, AIRCAIRO remains focused on
delivering accessible, reliable, and value-driven travel solutions while strengthening air links between
India and Egypt. We view this development as an important step toward supporting tourism, business
travel, and cultural exchange, while further positioning AIRCAIRO as a preferred carrier connecting
India with Egypt and our growing network of destinations across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.”
Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Abhishek Goyal, CEO & Executive Director, Aeroprime
Group, said:

“The activation of AIRCAIRO on IATA BSP India represents a major step forward in enhancing the
airline’s distribution landscape in the country. Combined with AIRCAIRO’s availability across leading
GDS platforms and its integration with GLID, Aeroprime’s airline retailing platform, travel partners now
have multiple efficient channels to access the airline’s products and services. As AIRCAIRO’s
Passenger and Cargo GSA in India, we are excited to support the airline’s ambitious growth plans and
further strengthen its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing outbound travel markets.”

Travel agents can now issue AIRCAIRO tickets directly through the IATA Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) system with immediate effect, marking a significant step forward in simplifying airline distribution and improving global travel booking efficiency. This development allows accredited travel agents to process bookings in a more streamlined manner, ensuring quicker ticket issuance and more reliable financial settlement between agents and the airline.

The integration into the IATA BSP framework enhances operational efficiency by reducing manual processing and improving transparency in transactions. It also strengthens AIRCAIRO’s commercial reach by making its inventory more easily accessible to travel agents across multiple markets. With BSP acting as a centralised settlement platform, agents benefit from standardised procedures, reduced administrative workload, and improved payment security, while the airline gains faster revenue realisation and better control over distribution channels.

This move comes at a time when travel demand between India and Egypt continues to show steady growth, driven by increased tourism, business exchanges, and cultural connectivity. By enabling direct ticket issuance through BSP, AIRCAIRO is positioning itself to better serve this rising demand with improved accessibility and faster service delivery. The airline’s strengthened distribution capability ensures that passengers can now book flights more conveniently through their trusted travel agents without delays or complex booking processes.

Beyond the India–Egypt corridor, this enhancement significantly expands AIRCAIRO’s global connectivity footprint. The airline’s network spans key destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia, and the BSP integration allows travel agents to access this broader route map with greater ease. As a result, passengers benefit from more flexible travel options, smoother connections, and improved itinerary planning across multiple regions.

For the travel industry, this development reflects a broader trend toward digitalisation and system integration within airline distribution networks. By aligning with IATA BSP standards, AIRCAIRO is adopting globally recognised best practices that enhance efficiency, reduce friction, and improve overall customer experience. It also supports travel agents by empowering them with faster booking tools and more reliable access to airline inventory.

Overall, AIRCAIRO’s direct participation in the IATA BSP system represents a strategic advancement in its distribution strategy. It not only improves operational efficiency but also strengthens its competitive position in key international markets. With enhanced booking convenience, expanded network access, and improved financial processing, both travel agents and passengers stand to gain from a more connected and efficient air travel ecosystem.
