Earlier in his career, Cameron held leadership positions at Kimpton Solamar Hotel San Diego and Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego. His professional background also includes sales and marketing roles with Park Hyatt Los Angeles and Hyatt Regency Sacramento.

This breadth of experience gives Cameron exposure to different segments of the hospitality market, including luxury accommodation, resort operations, sales strategy and destination-focused hospitality.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

What Will Cameron Do at The Belgrove Resort?

Cameron’s new responsibilities will centre on the resort’s sales and marketing strategy, with an emphasis on revenue generation, strategic partnerships and market positioning.

The role places him at the centre of efforts to develop business opportunities while strengthening The Belgrove’s relationships with important source markets and industry partners.

Cameron’s previous experience across luxury hotels and resorts provides a background aligned with these objectives.

He has also received industry recognition during his career, including Sales Person of the Year from the San Diego Hotel & Motel Association and Sales Team of the Year recognition from Manchester Grand Hyatt.

How Is The Belgrove Building Its West Palm Beach Position?

The Belgrove opened in March 2025 and has positioned itself around the history, character and lifestyle associated with West Palm Beach.

The property features 150 guest rooms and a range of facilities designed to create an integrated resort experience. Its accommodation offering is complemented by dining, wellness, recreation and outdoor spaces.

Among the property’s facilities are signature restaurant Society48, fitness and spa facilities, two swimming pools and outdoor patio areas.

The resort also includes the private and members-only Dutchman’s Pipe Golf Club, adding a distinctive recreational component to its wider offering.

The property is preparing for another stage of development, with 22 private villas scheduled to open in 2027. That expansion could broaden the resort’s accommodation mix while adding another element to its luxury hospitality proposition.

What Does Cameron’s Appointment Mean for the Resort?

Cameron’s appointment adds a senior executive with extensive sales and marketing experience to a property that remains relatively new to the West Palm Beach hospitality landscape.

His responsibilities will include strengthening commercial performance while supporting the resort’s broader positioning within Palm Beach hospitality.

For The Belgrove, the timing is significant because the resort is moving beyond its initial opening phase and towards further development, including the planned private villas.

The appointment therefore links leadership expansion with the property’s wider growth strategy.

Cameron said he was pleased to join the resort during what he described as an exciting stage in its evolution. He highlighted the property’s distinctive offering and said he would focus on strengthening relationships across key markets and creating new opportunities for continued growth.

Why Does Leadership Matter as The Belgrove Expands?

Hospitality properties depend on coordinated sales, marketing and operational strategies to establish a sustainable market presence, particularly when they are competing within established luxury destinations.

West Palm Beach has a broad hospitality ecosystem encompassing luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, golf, wellness and leisure experiences. Against that backdrop, The Belgrove’s leadership team will need to communicate the property’s individual proposition while developing relationships across relevant travel and hospitality markets.

General Manager Brittany Drenth said Cameron’s experience across luxury and resort hospitality, alongside his record in sales, team development and strategic partnerships, would support the resort’s objectives.

The appointment also reflects the importance of experienced commercial leadership as The Belgrove moves towards its next development phase.

What Comes Next for The Belgrove Resort?

The Belgrove’s immediate growth story will include the planned opening of its 22 private villas in 2027, alongside continued development of its existing resort facilities and market presence.

Cameron’s appointment gives the property a dedicated senior leader for sales and marketing as it enters this next stage.

With its 150 guest rooms, golf club, dining venue, wellness facilities, pools and forthcoming villas, The Belgrove is continuing to develop a broad hospitality proposition in West Palm Beach.

The leadership change, therefore, represents another step in the resort’s post-opening development and its efforts to establish stronger commercial relationships within the Palm Beach travel market.

The Belgrove Resort & Spa West Palm Beach has appointed Rob Cameron to lead sales and marketing as the resort enters its next growth phase. His luxury hospitality experience will support commercial development, partnerships and market positioning. Meanwhile, the planned 2027 villas will further expand the property’s accommodation offering.

“Rob Cameron’s appointment brings valuable hospitality expertise to The Belgrove Resort & Spa West Palm Beach. His extensive sales and marketing background can support the resort’s continued growth, strengthen industry relationships and enhance its market presence. This leadership addition comes at an important stage as The Belgrove expands.”
