A festivity of Temotu Province’s opulent and very different culture, ethnicities, art and craft, the opening Tinakula Festival of Arts and Culture would take place on 28-29 July this year in Honiara.

Happening at the Solomon Islands National University (SINU) Village, this fiesta delivers Honiara residents and tourists with a delightful prospect to see, hear and savor Temotu’s exclusive music, arts, dance, food and crafts, and in the process getting an understanding into a part of the Solomon Islands.

Tourism Solomons has given its its complete backing for this event, validating a Silver Sponsorship
arrangement with the organizers with the countrywide tourist office’s CEO (Temporary), Dagnal Dereveke.

Attending to see the inking was Garedd Porowai, the Team Leader of Product Marketing of Tourism
Solomons, who takes care of the Temotu selection, and also the TFA’s Mason Soniewairepu.

After the inking formality, Mr. Porowai said that the fiesta affiliated seamlessly with Tourism Solomons’
assignment to uphold the whole of Solomon Islands as a traditionally varied and vivacious place.

TFA chair Nelu stated that the association feels content to have Tourism Solomons join as the silver promoter for the carnival.
