Accor expands presence across Asia with new ventures

Accor, a leading augmented hospitality Group, is delighted to announce its recent agreements for November 2023, reaffirming its steadfast commitment to expanding its presence and providing unmatched experiences throughout Asia.
By October 2023, Accor successfully finalized management agreements for an impressive 69 properties, enhancing its extensive portfolio with over 16,500 keys. In the midst of this impressive growth, the Group strategically focuses on solidifying its leadership in the Premium, Midscale, and Economy segments, exemplified by its dedicated representation through the Novotel, Mercure, and ibis brands. This strategic approach underscores Accor’s dedication to offering a diverse range of choices for its guests.

New signings include:
- ibis Styles Phuket Bangtao (Thailand):
Accor continues its expansion in Thailand with the recent signing of ibis Styles Phuket Bangtao. This new hotel, scheduled to open in 2025, will boast 140 keys, a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, and a well-equipped gym. Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Bangtao, known for its pristine beach and modern living, ibis Styles aims to infuse the locale with artistic ingenuity and contemporary chic. With this signing, Accor reinforces its position as the largest international hotel operator in Thailand.
- Novotel Jakarta Pulo Mas (Indonesia):
Accor is pleased to announce the signing of Novotel Jakarta Pulo Mas, situated in Pulo Mas, East Jakarta. This 36-floor hotel, part of a mixed-use development, will offer 175 rooms, including standard rooms and suites. With various amenities such as an all-day dining restaurant, lounge, health and fitness center, spa, pool bar, and an outdoor swimming pool, Novotel Jakarta Pulo Mas promises a serene ambiance with a breathtaking view of Jakarta.
- Mercure Cat Tien and ibis Styles Cat Tien (Vietnam):
Accor will manage and operate two hotels within the Imperial Oasis Quy Nhon project in Binh Dinh province, featuring the renowned Mercure and ibis Styles brands. Opening in 2027, the Mercure Cat Tien and ibis Styles Cat Tien hotels, located in the Cat Tien gateway urban area, will offer 189 and 250 guestrooms, respectively, with state-of-the-art facilities aligning with Accor’s strategic emphasis on coastal economic development and high-end commercial sectors in Vietnam.
- Swissôtel Bangkok Pratunam (Thailand):
Accor will unveil the Swissôtel Pratunam Bangkok in early 2027. Nestled in the heart of Bangkok’s premier shopping district, this premium hotel with 325 beautifully decorated rooms and suites is set to redefine urban sophistication. Guests can enjoy panoramic skyline views from the rooftop infinity pool, relax in the world-class spa, and savor exquisite dining options.
- Grand Mercure Goa Candolim (India):
Grand Mercure Goa Candolim is set to welcome guests in Q2 of 2024, becoming the 7th Grand Mercure in India. Spanning 6,500 sqm, the hotel offers 87 well-appointed rooms, two dining options, a 500+ sqm banquet hall, and fitness and spa facilities. With its upscale amenities, the hotel aims to make a significant impact on Goa’s dynamic hospitality scene, providing a notable stay for travelers.
With six signings totaling over 1,100 additional keys across Asia in November 2023, Accor continues to showcase its expertise in the hospitality industry, delivering exceptional and innovative experiences to guests in the region.
