Akasa Air expands domestic network with Ayodhya as 18th destination

Akasa Air, India’s rapidly expanding airline, enhances its domestic network by including Ayodhya as its 18th destination. The airline will conduct daily flights between Pune and Ayodhya via Delhi, providing seamless connectivity without the need for an aircraft change in Delhi. This new route strengthens links between Ayodhya and two major hubs, with daytime flights scheduled during prime hours for passenger convenience. Travelers can conveniently book flights through Akasa Air’s website, www.akasaair.com, its Android and iOS apps, or via various leading online travel agencies (OTAs).

The addition of Ayodhya aligns with Akasa Air’s commitment to fortify its domestic operations and offer affordable transportation options to visitors of the city. Praveen Iyer, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Akasa Air, emphasized the airline’s dedication to connecting people, cultures, and regions. Ayodhya, with its spiritual, religious, and cultural significance, is now linked to major hubs—Delhi and Pune—facilitating easy access for travelers and contributing to economic growth, trade, and regional development.

Akasa Air strives to provide a comprehensive and pleasant flying experience through its best-in-class products and services. The Boeing 737 MAX aircraft feature spacious seating and USB ports for in-flight gadget charging.
