Over the course of the next 15 years, Akasa Air will capitalize on CAE’s top-notch training infrastructure, seasoned instructors, and cutting-edge full-flight simulators. This collaboration underscores Akasa Air’s unwavering commitment to nurturing the finest pilots globally, aligned with the most stringent training benchmarks. Moreover, this partnership marks a pivotal moment for the Indian aviation sector, which is poised for substantial growth and demands a proficient cohort of aviators to steer its trajectory.

Since its inception in 2022, CAE has been instrumental in honing the skills of Akasa Air pilots, furnishing them with unparalleled resources and an intensive simulation-based training curriculum. This holistic approach ensures that Akasa Air pilots attain exemplary levels of proficiency, enabling them to navigate the skies with utmost precision and confidence.

CAE has solidified its presence in India with 13 state-of-the-art simulators distributed across three premier commercial aviation training centers. These facilities play a vital role in delivering essential pilot training and associated services to numerous airlines in India. Particularly noteworthy is CAE’s recent achievement of becoming a Boeing Authorized Training Provider for Boeing’s Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) curriculum, reinforcing its standing in the Indian aviation market.

Aligned with Akasa Air’s dedication to sustainable practices, CAE shares a similar commitment to environmentally responsible operations. In 2020, CAE achieved the distinction of being the first carbon-neutral Canadian aerospace company.
