Akasa Air Launches Daily Flights from Srinagar to Mumbai, Expanding Northern India Network

Akasa Air, the rapidly expanding airline in India, has initiated its service from Srinagar, the chief city of Jammu & Kashmir, ensuring a direct daily connection to Mumbai. The first flight took off on March 1st, 2024, from Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport at 13:55 hrs and reached Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at 17:00 hrs. This addition bolsters Akasa Air’s network in Northern India and provides more convenient travel options between these two cities.

Srinagar, renowned for its breathtaking scenery, has also earned praise for its welcoming hospitality, distinctive culinary flavors, and unique cultural identity, making it an increasingly popular destination among travelers.

Akasa Air also accommodates pet travel, allowing customers to bring their pets in the cabin or transport them in the cargo hold depending on their size. To promote inclusivity, the airline has introduced Braille versions of its safety instruction and onboard menu cards for passengers with visual impairments.
