Akasa Air adds Srinagar reaches 20th destination in growth surge

Akasa Air, a rapidly expanding airline in India, has announced the addition of Srinagar as its 20th destination within its growing network. Starting from March 1, 2024, the airline will operate daily flights connecting Mumbai, the financial capital, to Srinagar, often dubbed as the “Paradise on Earth,” in response to the surging demand for air travel between these cities. This expansion marks a significant milestone as it marks the airline’s debut in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, thus strengthening its domestic presence in the northern region of India. Srinagar, renowned as a ‘Paradise on Earth,’ has experienced a consistent surge in travel demand over recent years. The launch of flight operations on this route will cater to a diverse range of travelers, encompassing both business and leisure segments, thereby enhancing connectivity, commerce, and tourism in the area. With this new addition, Akasa Air seamlessly connects Mumbai to a total of 13 cities across India.
