Alaska tourism intimidated

A recent research found that by the end of this century, two-thirds of the glaciers of the world has a possibility to get vanished. The frozen landmarks in Alaska are a powerful draw for the tourism industry of the state. This has been reported by Alaska Public Media.

The thinning Exit Glacier is based at the border of the Harding Icefield, just west of Seward, and since 2004, it has got smaller by more than 2,300 feet. A study published in the journal Science in January, found that glaciers worldwide are melting faster than what has been expected and the way the current global warming is raising, two-thirds of the glaciers of the Earth has a chance to have gone entirely by 2100. For sea level rise, that would have caused a radical effect and for the billions of people who depend on that overflow for everything from drinking water to irrigation.
