Amadeus and Etraveli Group have formed a partnership to boost travel options through virtual interlining services from TripStack.
Amadeus and Etraveli Group have established a strategic partnership focused on enhancing the selection and distribution of exclusive Etraveli Group offerings. This collaboration includes the integration of virtual interlining services from Etraveli Group’s subsidiary, TripStack, into the Amadeus Travel Platform.
Through this partnership, Amadeus will provide travel sellers with a unified platform offering access to a broader and more intricate array of travel options that cater to the evolving preferences of modern travelers. This development follows a comprehensive agreement to extend their air distribution alliance, positioning Etraveli Group as a prominent technology provider for air travel, servicing notable clients like Booking.com and operating brands such as Mytrip, GoToGate, and Flight Network. Furthermore, this arrangement allows Etraveli Group to continue prioritizing Amadeus for NDC content.
Sam Abdou, Executive Vice President Global Sales Airline IT, Distribution and global Online Travel Agencies, Amadeus, said: “Amadeus has continued to grow its leading position as an air content distributor to the global OTA market with a series of milestone partnerships. Today, we are proud to extend our partnership with Etraveli Group, including content sourcing and the rollout of NDC-enabled content. This is a true endorsement of our commitment to creating an unmatched marketplace where travel sellers can easily connect to the most comprehensive content from across the travel ecosystem and offer exceptional choice for travelers.”
The updated agreement ensures that Etraveli Group will keep utilizing various Amadeus technologies to bolster search and service functions, ultimately improving the overall travel experience.
Mathias Hedlund, Chief Executive, Etraveli Group, said: “We are delighted to work with Amadeus as our preferred technology partner. This long-term collaboration has created significant value for both partners and, as we work to drive our market share in the coming years, we believe the technology innovator has the scale, ambition and ability to provide the solutions we need. In addition, the content sourcing initiative that will provide Amadeus with new and unique air content will provide the perfect vehicle to meet the growing demands of the traveler whilst increasing ticket sales potential for resellers.”
Etraveli Group, with its main office in Stockholm, Sweden, employs approximately 2,400 staff, supplemented by around 1,800 outsourced personnel, from its nine global offices. The company has witnessed expansive growth across continents with facilities in Sweden, Canada, Greece, India, Poland, and Uruguay.
