ANA celebrates 11 years of SKYTRAX 5-star excellence

All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s largest airline, has once again received the prestigious 5-Star quality of service designation from SKYTRAX, a globally recognized independent international air transport rating organization. ANA stands out as the sole Japanese airline to maintain this coveted 5-Star rating for an impressive 11 consecutive years, starting from 2013. This remarkable achievement reflects the unwavering dedication, commitment, and exceptional hospitality demonstrated by ANA’s employees on a daily basis.

The “World Airline Star Rating” is the outcome of a comprehensive and meticulous audit, assessing every aspect of an airline’s in-flight and airport service quality standards. The 5-Star designation is reserved for airlines that consistently deliver top-notch service, a distinction held by only 10 airlines worldwide. ANA proudly maintains its position as the sole Japanese carrier to sustain this prestigious rating for an entire decade.

ANA’s consistent high-quality service across all aspects of passenger travel garnered praise from SKYTRAX. The award also acknowledges ANA’s continuous efforts to enhance its products and services, ensuring a safer and more comfortable air travel experience for passengers.

Key Initiatives Highlighted:

1. Airport Services: ANA resumed international flights from Haneda Airport Terminal 2 in July 2023, offering passengers one of the largest international departure lounges in Japan and seamless transfers to and from ANA domestic flights within the same terminal.
2. Aircraft and Schedule: ANA expanded its Airbus A380 “FLYING HONU” operations on the Narita=Honolulu route from October 20, 2023, with two daily flights since December 6, 2023.
3. In-Flight Cleaning: ANA’s dedication to providing a clean in-flight environment was recognized in June 2023 when it earned the “World’s Cleanest Airline” award at the World Airline Awards by SKYTRAX.
4. In-Flight Services: ANA is promoting the “universalization of food” onboard to cater to the dietary preferences of individual passengers, including renewing vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free in-flight meals and expanding pre-order items.
