At present, Bermuda is a member of the Caribbean Tourism Organization. This organization is mainly the supporter for the development of sustainable tourism within the area.

The affiliation is between the Government of Bermuda, CTO and the Bermuda Tourism Authority (BTA); Once, Bermuda collaborated with CTO before the pandemic hit the world. It is anticipated to unify the Caribbean under a robust objective: to get tourism bigger and in a sustainable way for everyone and for the destinations and the local environments and the people that the sector influences.

Bermuda’s Minister of Tourism, Vance Campbell, J.P., said that as their tourism carries on to revive after going through the tough years, it is crucial that they have entry to and work with same jurisdictions to share ideas that have been flourishing and can profit Bermuda. In the CTO, their membership will be of immense worth as they carry on to make an unbeaten, sustainable tourism that grows their financial system and provide thrilling and give power to careers for the locals.

The joint venture comes as Bermuda hopes to greet 500,000 cruise tourists in 2023, experiencing a major drop in all visitors during the pandemic situation. In 2022, the Bermuda welcomed 354,000 tourists. This
rise in 2023 is only 35,000 under the cruise visitor numbers of 2019.

CTO Chairman Kenneth Bryan, said that they very happy to welcome Bermuda back to the CTO.
