British Airways set to shift Bermuda flights to Heathrow

British Airways recently announced that, it will now operate daily flights from London Heathrow Terminal 5 replacing service from Gatwick Airport to Bermuda, starting March 20, 2021. The flights will depart from London Heathrow at 14:55, landing in Bermuda at 18:25. The route will be operated by a Boeing 777-200, which will soon feature the new Club Suite from the airline.


The airline has also has introduced a range of measures to keep its customers safe and has asked customers to abide by the new measures to help manage the wellness of everyone traveller. Neil Chernoff, Director of Network and Alliances, British Airways said in a statement the airline is are delighted to launch flights from Heathrow to Bermuda and mentioned that this is the first time the carrier have flown to Bermuda from London’s biggest airport for over three decades.


He also said that the carrier is looking forward to welcome customers so that they can experience the world class facilities at Heathrow Terminal 5. He shared that whether customers are travelling on business, visiting friends and family or taking a holiday, Bermuda is even more accessible from the U.K.’s largest airport – a gateway for many of destinations worldwide.
