Brussels Airlines is set to expand its fleet with three more Airbus A320neos by summer 2026, boosting capacity and advancing its fleet modernization efforts.

Brussels Airlines plans to bolster its fleet with three additional Airbus A320neo aircraft by the summer of 2026 as part of its ongoing fleet renewal initiative.

This expansion will bring the airline’s A320neo fleet, under the Lufthansa Group umbrella, to a total of eight aircraft. The airline welcomed its first A320neo in November last year, marking a milestone as it took delivery of a brand-new aircraft for the first time.

Currently operating five A320neos, all equipped with CFM International Leap-1A engines and configured with 180 seats, Brussels Airlines aims to use the upcoming three aircraft to phase out two older A319s and boost overall capacity.

The airline anticipates receiving the new A320neos in the first half of 2026, although it acknowledges potential delays due to ongoing challenges in the aerospace supply chain.
