Image generated with AiCalifornia California, one of the most popular regions in United States is thinking of reopening the state and has outlined a phased plan.  The California Govornor Gavin Newsom yesterday outlined this phased reopening plan for his state, with the opening of retail businesses and schools. It will be based on an apparent stabilisation. The government clearly rolled out that they will see the infection and death rates.

The governor also said that the Stage 1 is where the state is now, staying home and working on knocking down the infection and death curve. The second stage involves lifting the limits on some lower risk workplaces, such as retail, manufacturing and offices where telework is not possible. The reopening child care centers will be a part of that second stage as well. The death rate due to coronavirus in California from the virus stands at 1,809, with 54 more fatalities, which was reported over the past 24 hours as of Tuesday evening.

The organizers of the California State Fair and Food Festival said that this event, which goes back 166 years, would resume in 2021. There are several of the state’s county fairs are likely to face parallel reckonings in days ahead, and a few have already cancelled. At the Orange County Fair and Event Center, the officials cancelled the Orange County Fair, which will be from July 17 through Aug. 16. In Del Mar, site of the San Diego County Fair, the event organizers also announced on April 14 the cancellation of the 2020 San Diego County Fair, which was going to happen in the month of July.  The Los Angeles County Fair, scheduled for September 4-27 at the Fairplex in Pomona is remain on the books.
