The Woodstock Art Gallery is set to enrich this March Break with a trio of compelling and interactive art exhibitions, inviting visitors of all ages to immerse themselves in a blend of creativity and innovation. The gallery is showcasing an array of works that delve into the interplay of nature and technology, the vibrancy of colors, and the intimate artistic bond between a mother and her daughter.

Highlighting the lineup is Terry Graff’s “Avian Cyborgs,” an exhibition where paintings, collages, and sculptures converge to explore the intricate relationship between the natural world and technological advancements. Another standout feature is “I Am…….. Driven by Colour,” an engaging, interactive installation crafted from cardboard and various reclaimed materials, inviting visitors to explore the immersive world of colors.

Further enriching the gallery’s offerings is “Inspired by… Mother and Daughter,” showcasing the diverse mixed media creations of Irma Makariunaite alongside geometric paintings and fiber art by her late mother, Rita Giedre-Buolva Forrest. This exhibit provides a unique insight into the creative dialogue between two generations.

Art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to engage with Makariunaite directly, with meet-and-greet sessions beginning on Wednesday, March 13, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Additional sessions will follow on various dates through June, offering multiple chances for visitors to connect with the artist behind the work.

For families seeking engaging activities during March Break, the gallery is also hosting free art activities on Wednesday, March 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and extending hours on Wednesday until 7:00 p.m., the Woodstock Art Gallery presents an ideal destination for those looking to immerse themselves in the world of art during the holiday break.
