Three officials of the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism has recently been named to new strategic positions committed to the growth of tourism in the territory, said Rosa Harris, the director of the agency.
The new officials of CIDOT, Lauren Brook, Marzeta Bodden, and Tristaca Ebanks, are quite knowledgeable as well as talented. Harris said that Caymanian women with important industry experience have achieved the position.
Harris also said that the department is pretty happy to greet the three very talented Caymanian women in their team. Into their roles, they have all changed perfectly and she looks forward to seeing how the ideas of these women help the department’s mandate to progress.
The deputy director, tourism product development, Bodden, has 20 years of public and private-sector exposure across tourism, aviation, education and economic services holding positions in the public as well as private sectors.
Before joining CIDOT, Bodden used to offer policy and communications support to the premier, cabinet, and senior government leaders of Cayman Islands all through the pandemic, said the officials of CIDOT.
Also, she has synchronized programs that aimed on Cayman history and national pride, and efforts to connect, instruct, and motivate the youth while observing culture and diversity.
Lauren Brook, the manager of global public relations services, has been associated with public relations, business development, and internal communications in the Cayman Islands, the United Kingdom and Canada for more than a decade.
