Belonging to the TRT Hotels, Resorts & Cruise Lines Industry, the Central Plaza Hotel Public Company Limited [CENTEL], the parent company of Centara, has been distinguished as an ‘Industry Mover’ in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2024 for its outstanding sustainability endeavors. This accolade highlights firms that have realized a minimum of a five percent enhancement in their S&P Global 2023 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA Score), showcasing the most substantial progress within their sector. CENTEL recorded a CSA Score of 60/100, evidencing a twelve-point increment from its previous score and positioning the firm among the top 15% within its industry. Central Plaza Hotel Public Company Limited [CENTEL], the umbrella company of Centara, has been awarded an impressive ‘A’ rating in the MSCI ESG Ratings, confirming its solid ESG commitments. MSCI ESG Research, recognized globally, conducts comprehensive research, ratings, and analyses on the ESG practices of thousands of firms worldwide, grading companies from AAA to CCC based on their management of industry-specific risks and competencies relative to their counterparts. This rating bolsters Centara’s standing as a sustainability pioneer in the hospitality sector, driving positive outcomes for communities and guests globally.

For its part, Centara has been consistently recognized on the Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI) list, now the SET ESG Ratings, with 2023 being the debut year it secured an ‘A’ ranking.
