The recent launch of ‘Andalusian Crush’, a new promotional video for Andalucía, at Madrid’s renowned Callao cinema marks a pivotal moment in Andalucía’s tourism strategy. Esteemed guests, including Juanma Moreno, President of the Junta de Andalucía, and Arturo Bernal, the regional tourism minister, were present to witness the video’s warm reception. This significant event coincides with Andalucía’s first appearance at the 44th edition of Fitur, occupying an impressive 6,500-square-meter exhibition space. Moreno’s optimism about the potential success of this venture reflects the broader economic impact of the tourism sector, which has already contributed 25 million euros. It is beneficial to Fitur. His comments stress the need to cherish, develop, and protect this industry, avoiding complacency to sustain growth and success.

At the XII Exceltur Forum, Moreno further highlighted Andalucía’s dedication to delivering high-quality and sustainable tourism. This commitment is backed by impressive figures, with the tourism industry contributing a substantial 186.596 million euros to the national economy, representing 12.8% of Spain’s GDP. These statistics not only underline the critical role of tourism in Spain’s economy but also emphasize the strategic importance of Andalucía’s efforts in promoting its rich cultural heritage and scenic beauty.
