Ras Al Khaimah will host FHS World in November 2027, bringing leading hotel investors, developers, operators and tourism decision-makers to Wynn Al Marjan Island. FHS World will return to Ras Al Khaimah in November 2027, placing one of the hospitality industry’s major investment gatherings at Wynn Al Marjan Island. The announcement is a joint initiative involving the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, master developer Marjan and The Bench, organiser of FHS World. It also marks a return for the summit to a destination that previously hosted the event in 2018 and 2019, when it operated under the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference, or AHIC, brand.
FHS World has since expanded into an international hospitality investment platform. Its 2027 edition is expected to attract around 1,200 delegates, including 250 investors and 200 speakers representing more than 60 countries.

For Ras Al Khaimah, the conference provides an opportunity to present its development story directly to the people and businesses shaping future hotel, resort, restaurant, wellness and real-estate investment.
Wynn Al Marjan Island takes centre stage
The choice of Wynn Al Marjan Island gives the event a high-profile setting at a time when Ras Al Khaimah is gaining wider attention from the global travel and hospitality sector.

The integrated resort development is expected to be a significant addition to the UAE tourism landscape. Its selection as the host venue underlines the emirate’s intention to use major hospitality infrastructure to attract meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions, alongside leisure travellers.
Delegates will gather at Wynn Al Marjan Island’s Celebrations & Events Center. The venue will include 7,708 square metres of event space and a 2,633 square-metre column-free ballroom, creating capacity for large conferences, business meetings and networking programmes.

Beyond the formal summit agenda, organisers plan to showcase the broader visitor offer across Ras Al Khaimah. Delegates will be introduced to experiences spanning Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest peak, as well as the emirate’s desert landscapes and coastline.
This is important because hospitality investment decisions increasingly depend on more than hotel room supply. Investors also look at accessibility, destination character, visitor activities, infrastructure, workforce development and the potential to generate demand throughout the year.
Summit agenda reflects changing hospitality priorities
FHS World 2027 will examine the issues influencing the future of hospitality investment. The agenda is expected to cover hotel development, destination planning, wellness and medical tourism, hotel branding, sustainability, technology, artificial intelligence, branded residences and restaurant investment.
These themes reflect how the sector is changing. Hotel investors are now considering a wider mix of revenue opportunities, including residences, food and beverage, wellness facilities and experience-led travel. At the same time, technology and artificial intelligence are influencing how operators manage pricing, personalise guest services, market hotels and improve operational efficiency.

Wellness and medical tourism are also becoming more relevant for destinations seeking to diversify their visitor economy. Ras Al Khaimah has been steadily developing an outdoor, nature and wellbeing-led profile, supported by its mountains, beaches and desert environment.
Branded residences are another area likely to draw interest. The model, which combines private homes with recognised hotel or resort brands, has grown across key leisure and urban markets. It offers developers a way to build long-term value around premium hospitality projects while giving buyers access to services associated with established brands.
Tourism leaders see a wider opportunity
Phillipa Harrison, Chief Executive Officer of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, said the summit would help communicate the emirate’s wider tourism and investment potential.
“Wynn Al Marjan Island is one part of a much bigger growth story for this Emirate, and FHS World is the right audience to tell it to,” she said. “This is a destination that has been building toward exactly this kind of moment, and we’re glad to have FHS back to see it firsthand.”
Alison Grinnell, Group COO of Marjan and CEO of Marjan Hospitality, said hosting the summit during the resort’s opening period would allow hospitality decision-makers to experience the development directly.
“Putting FHS World inside it in its opening weeks means the people who decide where hospitality capital goes next will see that for themselves, not read about it afterwards,” she said.

Max Tappeiner, President of Wynn Al Marjan Island, said the resort would offer delegates an integrated setting combining accommodation, restaurants, entertainment, retail and hospitality facilities.
Jonathan Worsley, Chairman of The Bench, said Ras Al Khaimah had hosted two strong editions in the event’s history and that the organiser was pleased to return.
A strategic platform for Ras Al Khaimah
Hosting FHS World gives Ras Al Khaimah an international stage at a key time for its tourism economy. The emirate is seeking to increase awareness among global investors while broadening its offer beyond traditional beach holidays.
Major industry conferences can create immediate economic activity through delegate stays, dining, local transport and destination experiences. Their longer-term value, however, can be greater. They create opportunities for tourism authorities, developers and hotel companies to hold meetings, explain investment plans and build relationships that can influence future projects.
The event will also support the emirate’s profile within the UAE’s competitive hospitality market. Dubai and Abu Dhabi remain established global business and tourism centres, but Ras Al Khaimah is increasingly positioning itself with a distinct proposition based on coastal resorts, nature, adventure, heritage and new large-scale developments.
By bringing FHS World to Wynn Al Marjan Island, the emirate is connecting its investment ambitions with a global audience that can help shape its next phase of tourism growth.

Ras Al Khaimah to Host FHS World 2027 at Wynn Al Marjan Island
Ras Al Khaimah will host the 2027 edition of FHS World, bringing the international hospitality investment summit to Wynn Al Marjan Island in November next year. The move marks the event’s return to the emirate after its previous editions there in 2018 and 2019, when it was known as the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference.
The announcement was made by the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, master developer Marjan and FHS World organiser The Bench. It gives Ras Al Khaimah a major global platform as its hotel, resort, entertainment and tourism pipeline enters a new phase.
FHS World 2027 is expected to welcome around 1,200 delegates, including 250 investors and 200 speakers from more than 60 countries. The audience will include hotel owners, developers, investors, operators, tourism officials, advisers and technology companies.
The choice of Wynn Al Marjan Island is central to the announcement. The integrated resort will host the summit in its Celebrations & Events Center, a 7,708-square-metre facility with a 2,633-square-metre column-free ballroom. The setting is designed to bring conference activity, accommodation, restaurants, entertainment, leisure and retail into one destination.
A Shift from Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah
The 2027 summit follows FHS World 2026 in Dubai, which was held at Madinat Jumeirah from 29 September to 1 October. Travel And Tour World reported that the Dubai event brought together around 1,000 delegates from 50 countries, more than 200 investors and over 170 speakers.
Dubai remains an established base for global hospitality gatherings. Ras Al Khaimah, however, will use the 2027 edition to demonstrate how a destination outside the UAE’s largest city is building a distinct tourism and investment proposition.

The emirate’s offer combines beachfront resorts, desert experiences, mountains, heritage attractions and growing leisure infrastructure. Delegates attending FHS World will also be offered destination experiences beyond the conference venue, including Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest peak, as well as Ras Al Khaimah’s coastline and desert landscapes.
Phillipa Harrison, Chief Executive Officer of RAKTDA, said Wynn Al Marjan Island forms part of a broader story of growth for the emirate.
“Wynn Al Marjan Island is one part of a much bigger growth story for this Emirate, and FHS World is the right audience to tell it to,” Harrison said. “This is a destination that has been building toward exactly this kind of moment, and we’re glad to have FHS back to see it firsthand.”
Investment, Technology and New Hospitality Models
The FHS World 2027 programme will cover hospitality investment, destination development, wellness and medical tourism, branding, sustainability, technology, artificial intelligence, branded residences and restaurant investment.
These subjects matter because hospitality is no longer defined only by hotel rooms. Developers are increasingly building mixed-use destinations that combine hotels with restaurants, retail, residences, entertainment and wellness facilities.
Travel And Tour World previously examined this change through coverage of FHS Living, the summit’s branded-living programme. The platform explores branded residences, serviced living, co-living, senior living, student accommodation and other experience-led property models.

Ras Al Khaimah’s 2027 hosting role creates an opportunity to place these investment discussions alongside a destination undergoing visible physical transformation. The emirate can present both its existing nature-led appeal and its growing large-scale resort pipeline to the people responsible for directing hospitality capital.
Alison Grinnell, Group COO of Marjan and CEO of Marjan Hospitality, said the location would allow investors to see the development first-hand.
“Putting FHS World inside it in its opening weeks means the people who decide where hospitality capital goes next will see that for themselves, not read about it afterwards,” Grinnell said.
A Return with Greater Global Ambition
FHS World has grown significantly since Ras Al Khaimah hosted the former AHIC editions in 2018 and 2019. The summit now brings together a wider international mix of investment funds, developers, hotel groups, tourism authorities and hospitality technology specialists.
Jonathan Worsley, Chairman of The Bench, said Ras Al Khaimah had delivered two strong editions in the event’s history.
“Bringing FHS World to Wynn Al Marjan Island is very exciting and we look forward to bringing the hospitality investment community together in Ras Al Khaimah,” he said.

For Ras Al Khaimah, the value of the summit extends beyond delegate spending. The event creates a direct meeting place for investors and destination leaders, enabling discussions around future hotels, branded residences, tourism infrastructure and long-term partnerships.
FHS World 2027 will therefore serve as both a global hospitality conference and a high-profile test of Ras Al Khaimah’s ambition to become a more influential tourism and investment destination in the Middle East.
FHS World 2027 will place Ras Al Khaimah before a global audience of hospitality investors at a defining moment for the emirate. Hosted at Wynn Al Marjan Island, the summit will strengthen its tourism investment profile while showcasing mountain, desert, coastal and resort experiences to influential industry decision-makers.
