Da Nang, the vibrant coastal city, is gearing up to unveil an exciting lineup of tourism experiences in 2025. These include cultural celebrations, revamped attractions, and improved seaside facilities, all part of its strategy to achieve higher tourism goals for the year.

Da Nang, a dynamic coastal city, is preparing to introduce a variety of new tourism experiences in 2025, ranging from vibrant cultural festivals and upgraded attractions to enhanced coastal amenities. These efforts align with the city’s ambitious goals to boost its tourism industry in the coming year.

Director of the municipal Department of Tourism, Truong Thi Hong Hanh, revealed that Da Nang aims to attract 11.9 million visitors in 2025, reflecting a 10% increase compared to 2024. Among these, international tourists are projected to reach 4.8 million, representing a significant 17% year-on-year growth. Additionally, tourism revenue is anticipated to surpass 36 trillion VND (approximately 1.41 billion USD), marking a 15% increase from the previous year.

To achieve these targets, Da Nang’s tourism sector will focus on three transformative strategies: creating innovative tourism offerings, expanding market outreach and air connectivity, and enhancing service standards alongside workforce development. The city also plans to prioritize digital transformation and strengthen collaborations with both domestic and international partners to drive sustainable growth.

Several landmark projects are set to be completed in 2025, including the Da Nang Museum on Bach Dang Street and major enhancements along the Hoang Sa – Vo Nguyen Giap – Truong Sa coastal corridor. The city is also preparing to host a series of high-profile events such as the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, the Asian Film Festival, the Da Nang Food Tour Festival, and the Enjoy Da Nang Festival.

Efforts to expand the tourism market will prioritize key domestic regions, particularly cities with direct flight connections to Da Nang, including Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho. Internationally, the city plans to sustain its growth in established markets like South Korea and Taiwan (China) while increasing promotional activities in Japan, China, and Southeast Asia. Additionally, Da Nang is looking to broaden its reach to emerging markets such as India, the United States, Australia, the Middle East, Russia, and Eastern Europe.

The city aims to attract a diverse range of travelers, focusing on those seeking leisure and relaxation, cultural experiences, MICE tourism, golf tourism, and destination weddings.
