Delta airline is launching its first-ever nonstop flight from Salt Lake City to Seoul in June 2025, enhancing travel connections between the Mountain West and Asia.

Delta Expands Global Reach with New Nonstop Service from Salt Lake City to Seoul

Delta is set to expand its international network with the introduction of its first-ever nonstop flight from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) to Seoul-Incheon International Airport (ICN), starting June 12, 2025. This new route, which will be the only direct link between Salt Lake City and Asia, offers convenient connections for travelers from the Mountain West and Southwest regions of the U.S. to major Asian destinations. Passengers will enjoy the comfort of Delta’s cutting-edge Airbus A350 aircraft, along with modern amenities at SLC’s newly upgraded terminal and the expansive Delta Sky Club, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable trans-Pacific travel experience.

Delta’s Dominance in Salt Lake City

This new service marks Delta’s fifth direct U.S. route to Seoul, joining Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, and Seattle. In partnership with Korean Air, Delta now offers access to Seoul from 14 U.S. cities, providing the most comprehensive network across Asia through ICN compared to any other trans-Pacific alliance. The addition of this route further strengthens Delta’s position as the largest long-haul foreign carrier at Incheon and enhances its extensive coverage across the region. In Salt Lake City, Delta continues to lead with more flights than any other airline, operating nearly 250 daily departures to over 90 global destinations, including international cities like Amsterdam, London, Paris, and Mexico City. This new route cements Delta’s role as the dominant carrier at Salt Lake City International Airport.
