Norwegian Cruise Line’s development programme includes the multi-ship pier, a welcome plaza and island-wide tram service, alongside the Great Life Lagoon. The 1.4-acre lagoon includes a 28,000-square-foot pool, private cabanas, swim-up bars and a dedicated family splash area.

The destination also includes Vibe Shore Club, an adults-only retreat with premium loungers and bar service, while Silver Cove provides an oceanfront resort-style enclave with private beach access, beachfront villas, a spa and dedicated dining facilities.

These facilities broaden the tourism offer beyond a conventional cruise beach stop, creating separate areas for relaxation, family recreation and premium day experiences.

New Water-Based Attractions Expand Tourism Appeal

The September 2026 tourism programme also includes the opening of Great Tides Waterpark. The attraction covers almost six acres and features 19 slides, an 800-foot dynamic river, children’s aquatic facilities and cliff-jump experiences.

The waterpark officially opened to cruise guests on 4 September 2026, coinciding with a call by Norwegian Luna. Passes can be reserved by eligible cruise passengers, while private cabanas are also available within the attraction.

For visitors arriving at Great Stirrup Cay, the expanded facilities create several ways to spend time ashore. Passengers can use the island’s beaches and pools, reserve cabanas, visit dedicated premium areas or book water-based and marine activities.
