Disneyland Paris is set to undertake a significant renovation of one of its two theme parks, Walt Disney Studios Park, which will soon be expanded and rebranded as Disney Adventure World. This extensive transformation is poised to nearly double the park’s current footprint and will feature a new Frozen-themed area, among other enhancements.

The soon-to-be-introduced World of Frozen will allow visitors to step into the Kingdom of Arendelle, where they will be greeted by beloved characters like Elsa, Anna, and Olaf. While specific details about the attractions within this new land remain under wraps, Disney has released concept imagery that includes views of an ice palace and the broader kingdom. This section of the park will also feature a new indoor ride, anticipated to be particularly popular among families.

Disney has assured that the World of Frozen will transport guests to Arendelle, showcasing its colorful facades and the impressive North Mountain. This addition follows the trend seen in other Disney parks, such as Hong Kong Disneyland, which already hosts a Frozen-themed world, and Walt Disney World’s Epcot in Florida, home to a Frozen ride.

Furthermore, the expansion will not solely focus on Frozen. Fans of “Tangled” will have something to look forward to as well, with the introduction of the ‘Raiponce Tangled Spin’ attraction. Concept art suggests this ride will resemble the spinning teacup attractions, promising fun for families and fans of the film.

The reimagined park, Disney Adventure World, will also include several other new attractions, restaurants, and themed gardens, enhancing the visitor experience. Disney has hinted at another brand-new immersive world that is still in the planning stages by the Imagineers, the details of which are yet to be disclosed. Additionally, ‘Adventure Bay’ is set to offer a unique entertainment stage featuring water-based shows that include fountains, music, lights, and special effects. A new entrance inspired by Hollywood is also planned, adding to the park’s allure.

The transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World is expected to significantly benefit the travel and tourism sector by attracting more visitors to Disneyland Paris. With new worlds and attractions, the park aims to offer richer and more diverse experiences, catering to a broader audience and potentially setting a new standard for theme parks globally.
