As the summer holiday season kicks off, this limited-time offer allows passengers to save on long-term parking, making it easier for vacationers to enjoy their journey without the stress of high parking fees. With Dubai International Airport expecting a surge in passengers, this initiative helps ensure a smooth start to their travels while offering more value and convenience.

With the summer holiday season just around the corner, countless travelers are gearing up for their vacations, and Dubai Airports is rolling out a special offer to enhance their travel experience and make it even more enjoyable. From June 10th to June 30th, parking rates at Dubai International (DXB) will be reduced, making it easier for passengers to enjoy a seamless journey.

The new initiative is designed to provide travelers with an affordable and convenient parking experience, with significant discounts on long-term parking across all terminals. Whether arriving at Terminal 1, Terminal 2, or Terminal 3, visitors will now benefit from reduced parking rates, giving them more time to enjoy the many amenities at DXB before their flights.

During this limited-time offer, parking rates will be as follows:

• AED 100 for three days
• AED 200 for seven days
• AED 300 for 14 days

This reduction in parking costs is part of Dubai Airports’ effort to make travel as easy and enjoyable as possible for passengers. With DXB expecting to accommodate more than 250,000 passengers daily, the goal is to provide added value for all travelers, whether they’re headed off for a quick business trip or a leisurely summer vacation.

Beyond parking, Dubai Airports continues to enhance the passenger experience with technology designed to streamline the airport journey. One of the highlights is DXB Express Maps, a digital tool that helps visitors navigate the airport in real-time. By simply scanning a QR code displayed on any flight information screen, travelers can quickly locate their gates, browse dining and shopping options, and find nearby facilities—all without any hassle. This tool ensures that guests are equipped with everything they need to navigate DXB efficiently, saving time and reducing stress.

While Dubai International offers a host of services for a comfortable and pleasant experience, there are a few travel tips to keep in mind to ensure a smooth trip during this busy time. These tips are especially helpful for those traveling in June, as the airport will be seeing an increase in passenger volume due to the summer rush.

Travel Tips for a Smooth Journey at DXB:

1. Emirates Travelers: If you’re flying with Emirates, take advantage of the airline’s early, home, and self-service check-in facilities. Additionally, consider using the city check-in options for a more relaxed start to your journey.
2. Other Airlines: For those flying with other carriers, it’s recommended to arrive no earlier than three hours before your flight’s scheduled departure time. Whenever possible, utilize online check-in to save time.
3. Family Travel: If you’re traveling with children aged 12 and above, use DXB’s Smart Gates to expedite the immigration process. This automated system is designed to provide quicker access for eligible travelers.
4. Pre-Travel Preparation: To make the airport experience smoother, weigh your luggage at home, gather all necessary documents ahead of time, and be prepared for security checks. This simple preparation helps reduce stress and keeps everything running on time.
5. Batteries and Power Banks: Safety is a top priority, so be aware that spare batteries and power banks are prohibited in checked luggage. Ensure these items are packed safely in your carry-on bag to avoid any issues at security.
6. Public Transport: If you’re traveling to and from DXB Terminals 1 and 3, consider using the Dubai Metro for a quick and efficient transfer. The metro’s operating hours are generally extended during public holidays, making it a convenient option for many passengers.
7. Picking Up Guests: For those picking up friends or family members at the airport, it’s advisable to use DXB’s designated car parks or valet services to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience. The ongoing parking offer will apply at these facilities, making it even more convenient for those visiting the airport.
8. Traffic and Peak Hours: The roads leading to DXB can become quite busy, particularly during peak hours. Be sure to account for this by planning additional time to reach the airport and go through the necessary check-in and security procedures.
9. Assistance for People of Determination: DXB offers enhanced services for travelers with special needs, including clearly marked accessibility routes and trained staff wearing Sunflower pins, ready to assist those wearing the Sunflower Lanyard. The airport also has a dedicated Assisted Travel Lounge located in Terminal 2.
10. Enjoy World-Class Amenities: Once at the airport, take advantage of the variety of world-class amenities available at DXB. Whether you’re in the mood for dining, duty-free shopping, or relaxing at an exclusive lounge, you’ll find plenty of ways to unwind before your flight. With a wide range of international cuisine, retail options, and relaxation services, there’s no shortage of things to enjoy while you wait for your journey to begin.
