For the fourth consecutive year, Coin & Candor, a seasonal brasserie located within Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, is commemorating Earth Day by switching off its lights and hosting Dinner in the Dark.

On Monday, April 22, 2024, both hotel guests and local community members are invited to enjoy Chef Jesus Medina’s wood-fired dishes in the warm glow of candlelight. This event promises an evening of ambiance and sustainability in honor of Earth Day.

The Spring Menu at Coin & Candor features a variety of enticing dishes:

• Salad featuring endive and radicchio, complemented by frisee, date vinaigrette, and pecorino cheese
• Beets served with toasted pine nuts, lemon gel, pickled onion, and midnight moon cheese
• Steak Tartare featuring wagyu beef, cured egg yolk, and a potato-waffle chip
• Tuna Crudo with hibiscus mignonette
• Scallop Raviolis accompanied by ricotta and lemon butter sauce
• Potato gnocchi accompanied by huitlacoche, Comte mornay sauce, and black truffle
• Striped Bass a la Veronique served with confit tomatoes and garlic lemon sauce
• Duck leg confit served with a zesty spiced citrus marmalade and Spanish rice
• Wagyu Striploin seasoned with porcini, served with grilled cabbage and brown butter bearnaise

Additionally, guests can indulge in signature items like Baja red snapper with chimichurri, adobo, and herb salad (priced at USD 52) or enjoy Chef Patrick Fahy’s daily-baked red fife sourdough bread with organic Straus creamery butter (priced at USD 8).
