Fiji Airways Included in Enhanced TSA PreCheck® Program

Experience streamlined US airport security with Fiji Airways, now part of TSA PreCheck, for faster, hassle-free travel to Fiji.

Travelers flying to Fiji via Fiji Airways can now experience swift and streamlined security checks when leaving the United States, thanks to the airline’s participation in the enhanced TSA PreCheck® program, managed by the Transportation Security Administration.

TSA PreCheck offers an expedited security process to low-risk travelers at over 200 airports across the U.S. This program allows qualifying passengers to pass through security without removing shoes, belts, light jackets, and allows them to keep laptops, liquids following the 3-1-1 rule, and food in their carry-on luggage. The program boasts that nearly all passengers using TSA PreCheck lanes experience less than a 10-minute wait at security checkpoints.

Andre Viljoen, the Managing Director and CEO of Fiji Airways, expressed enthusiasm about the airline’s inclusion in TSA PreCheck, highlighting it as a significant perk for its customers. He noted, “Joining this program is a thrill for us, as it ensures our customers from the U.S. enjoy a smoother start to their Fijian vacation. The goal is to make their travel experience more pleasant from start to finish.”

Fiji Airways is dedicated to enhancing its service offerings, and joining the TSA PreCheck program is a step in this direction.

Operating daily flights from Nadi to Los Angeles, and up to five weekly flights to San Francisco, Fiji Airways uses its advanced Airbus A350s for these routes. These aircraft are renowned for their exceptional passenger comfort and are among the most sophisticated planes currently in operation.
