The Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is set to offer a year filled with exquisite dining experiences as it continues its unique Restaurant-in-Room Chef Series, kicking off 2024 with an exciting collaboration. Chef Maria Tampakis, the hotel’s Executive Chef and a prominent figure in luxury and lifestyle hospitality, has carefully selected an array of elite chefs and culinary talents from New York City to craft dining experiences for guests that mirror the ambiance and quality of the city’s most renowned eateries, available exclusively for those staying at the hotel.

To inaugurate this year’s series, Chef Maria Tampakis will join forces with Chef Mitsunobu Nagae of the Michelin-starred l’abeille, to offer guests a sample of a unique, one-night event that featured Chef Yosuke Suga from Tokyo’s exclusive Sugalabo. This collaboration will showcase the unique styles and culinary expertise of each chef, presenting a three-course meal that merges a variety of flavors, techniques, and inspirations in a harmonious blend.

l’abeille, under the helm of Executive Chef Mitsunobu Nagae and located in Tribeca, holds a Michelin star and is celebrated for its fusion of traditional Japanese dishes with a global French fine dining influence. The restaurant’s focus on select ingredients delivers an intimate and sophisticated tasting menu. Adding to this blend, Chef Yosuke Suga from Sugalabo introduces his unique approach, incorporating rare ingredients into dishes that captivate the palates of those fortunate enough to experience this hidden gem in Tokyo.

Chef Maria Tampakis, alongside these distinguished chefs, will reinterpret three iconic dishes, offering hotel guests the luxury of savoring these culinary masterpieces from the comfort of their elegant rooms. The menu features crispy scallops with sunchoke velouté, a wagyu teriyaki burger, and a dessert of fresh fish and pistachio beignets served with tartar sauce.

This exclusive dining experience is a temporary offering at the Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown, providing both locals and visitors a unique chance to experience new culinary delights.
