Renowned for their outstanding culinary talents, innovative spirit, and ability to take diners on an unforgettable gastronomic journey, Michelin-starred Chef Alan Taudon from France and Michelin-starred Chef Dani García from Spain are teaming up for two exclusive collaborative dinners. Taking place on April 17th and 18th, 2024, at the stylish Dani Brasserie, located within the renowned Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, this special event promises an extraordinary culinary experience. Known for its vibrant and welcoming ambiance, Dani Brasserie embodies the essence of Madrid, and for this occasion, it will feature elements inspired by L’Orangerie at Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, seamlessly blending the two atmospheres.

Chef Alan Taudon, recently awarded a second Michelin star for his exceptional work at L’Orangerie, brings his daring and inventive approach to French cuisine to the table. Focusing on vegetables, dairy, and shellfish, his creations showcase his mastery of sauces, reinventing classic culinary principles with a modern twist. The intimate setting of L’Orangerie perfectly complements his culinary artistry.

Equally celebrated with two Michelin stars, Chef Dani García is renowned for his interpretation of Andalusian cuisine, infusing it with cosmopolitan flair at Dani Brasserie. Reflecting his love for his homeland, the restaurant offers a unique blend of southern Spanish flavors with international influences.

Michelin-starred Chef Alan Taudon comments: “I am eager to share with Chef Dani García, as well as local food lovers, my universe and my vision. With Chef Garcia, we celebrate our mutual respect for tradition, coupled with our desire to continuously innovate and stimulate ourselves. I can’t wait to offer our guests a one-of-a-kind experience as these dinners represent our shared passion for crafting unexpected flavour combinations and conveying special emotions through our distinct culinary styles.”

Michelin-starred chef Dani García adds: “I think the most beautiful thing about my profession is being able to share. The most special moments I have experienced in the kitchen have been working ‘four hands’ with great colleagues from whom I can keep learning what I love most in this world. In this case, I feel lucky, honoured and privileged to welcome Chef Alan Taudon to Dani Brasserie, my home. He just got his second MichelinsStar and I am looking forward to working hand in hand with him. For me, it will be a great pleasure to show madrileños a little bit of the roots of each of us. I think it will be a very special moment in my career. “

Together, they will craft a 10-course dinner sure to captivate the palates of both locals and gastronomes alike. Each chef has carefully curated a menu featuring their signature dishes. Guests will embark on a culinary journey starting with Chef Taudon’s iconic roasted char-grilled onions and smoked leaf salad, followed by Chef García’s baby shrimp from Motril with yuzu kosho and hazelnut butter. The feast continues with a series of starters by Chef Taudon, including sea urchin and chestnuts with egg yolk glaze, wild asparagus with cloudy rice fermentation and iodised kiwi, and sweetcorn royale with vichyssoise, smoked leek cream, and king crab topped with caviar, a personal favorite of Chef García. For the main course, Chef Taudon will present his grilled sea bream with vegetable tagliatelle and jalapeño sauce, while Chef García will offer roasted duck in anolini jus and consommé infused with fresh herbs. The culinary voyage concludes with an array of desserts, featuring basil and pear curd with vanilla and choco whisky.

This two-night event celebrates the culinary excellence of both chefs, offering diners an opportunity to experience their unique creations and embrace the emotions they evoke, resonating with each guest’s heritage and traditions.
